Hello everyone!! I officially have released my first album! I can’t believe it actually happened! This whole process has been quite the learning experience, and it has taken us about a year to complete everything. I am so so so so grateful for all of the help that I’ve received along the way from all kinds of people who just wanted to help get my music out there. I can hardly believe that it all came together in time. Phew! Thank you thank you thank you! Here’s the link for where you can download it online:

We’re going back into the studio to record a string quartet for “A Hundred Hearts” and touch up a couple other tracks so I am very excited!!! I am doing my best to make this record sound great and I am so looking forward to sharing it with you.
Other updates: This weekend I’ll be opening for Coeur de Pirate at Brighton Music Hall in Boston! She’s Canadian and very lovely!

My first official album, The Part That Knows, is SO CLOSE to being done. All it needs is an extra push from some kind-hearted, music-loving people (like you!) to get there. Each contributor joins a team of people trying to make this world a better place AND gets rewards. Donate as little as $10 and you get a copy of the album!
An alternative to a donation would be spreading the word on my campaign. Together, we can make this world a better place. Please visit my Kickstarter campaign for more information.
Read MoreAs you know, I spent a lot of time on the road this summer. During my time out, I battled earthquakes, hurricanes, cars that were too small, weird directions, and traffic. I also met and spent time with some of the kindest and most welcoming people one could hope for. This summer’s success would not have been possible without the support of those who care about and believe in me. Thank you to those who supported me and who continue to support me as I return to Boston for a busy fall of finishing mixes and (hopefully!) releasing my first record!
Read MoreI’m so sorry but due to inclement weather surrounding Hurricane Irene, I’m forced to cancel the last show of my tour. I was very much looking forward to being in Montpelier so please check back for updates on a make-up show.

My new coffee mugs and Hundred Heart t-shirts just arrived in the mail and are ready for loving homes. Items will be a little cheaper if bought at a show but both make great gifts. Thanks to my dear friend Sarah Mount for designing the heart!
Almost all of my Summer 2011 tour dates have been announced! Check them out here. I hope to see you soon!
Read MoreJordan Brown is sick! (Don’t worry, not with the flu!) Here’s why:
In early February of 2011, while I was quarantined to my room in Greece for having a terrible cold, Jordan Brown messaged me on facebook asking if I could sing on a track of his, and that he wanted it done by Valentine’s Day.
My first thought: Sure!!
My second thought: Wait a second. How in the world am I going to record my part? (I didn’t bring any recording equipment with me to Greece.)
I searched all over the conservatory that I was taking my classes at, tried out a few of the microphones, got an mbox from a fellow study-abroader, and all to no avail. Everything sounded awful for some reason.
So, the night before I left for a 3 day field trip to visit the ancient city of Delphi, I still hadn’t recorded anything. What could I do?
I recorded my part into my computer through the internal mic. Yep, that’s what I did. I put a blanket over me and my computer to block out any extra sound, and sent it off to Jordan.
I couldn’t believe what he did with it. It sounded so professional!! Listen below to find out…

A little bit about my adventures in Greece…
It was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.
Not only was I able to start a little band over there and perform a bit, but we also managed to record in a studio! Playing with those musicians and teaching them my tunes helped me remember what it’s like to play with a full live band: So. Much. Fun! With Kostas Mylonas on drums, Sam Ravenna on bass, and Drew Williams on guitar, every rehearsal was bound to have some wonderful moments of laughter, hard work, and musical discoveries.
Another amazing opportunity I had was to acquire some skills on the majestic instrument of orchestral harp. My teacher, Georgia or “Gogo” as they nickname her in Greece, brought such a positive energy to the lessons as well as a vast knowledge of the instrument which she passed down to me, as best as I could grasp anyway. Now, I’m trying to raise some funds to purchase a mini-harp and bring it on the road with me! Such a soothing instrument.. More about what motivated me to learn the harp later… (has to do with pirate ships!)
Being able to travel, to meet with other musicians in other countries because of the Berklee network, share cultural experiences, be in completely new environments, and facing challenges that one has the tendency to deal with when living abroad, allowed me to grow in ways that I don’t even know how to explain. I’m sure you’ll hear it coming through in my songs over the next few years…
